High House Production Park, Purfleet

The new Bob and Tamar Manoukian Costume Centre at the High House Production Park in Purfleet, Thurrock is part of a significant centre for the creative industries. Integral worked with the team to deliver this unique bespoke costume centre with workshops for the Royal Opera House (ROH). The building houses a store for over 20000 costumes in addition to the ROH special collection which is of national importance. The building has many different functions and each function required a different design response. The structure is steel framed with a solid timber floor and roof for carbon sequestration. McVeigh Offsite were appointed by Interserve for the Design, supply and installation of the highly insulated walls cassettes. The Centre is an exemplar of low energy design and BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
