SIPs Self-build – Rapid SIP Construction

McVeigh Offsite worked directly with self-build owners to deliver premium SIPs homes, providing design support, manufacturing, and installation guidance.

McVeigh Offsite were appointed by Katrina and Steven Suer for the construction of their new self-build home in Montrose, Scotland. We were appointed for the design, supply and installation of the SIP and Timber Frame structure. The house had a quirky layout with a complex arrangement of angled SIP panels.

How did SIPs benefit this project

Due to the panelised SIP system and the project being complete in the height of summer,  this allowed the install team to use the longer daylight hours and their fantastic erecting to get the job complete within 10 days! A rapid SIP build for the size of the project. Katrina was that pleased with our erection team, she treated them to tea every night!
