SIP Construction – Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
What are SIPs?
SIPs are a modern alternative to traditional timber framed construction. They consist of two outer layers of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) sandwiched around an Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) core.
SIPs function as the structural element for property walls, roofs, and suspended floors.
A ‘fabric first’ approach to building design involves maximising the performance of the components and materials that make up the building fabric itself, before considering the use of mechanical or electrical building services systems.
Planning and Design with SIPs. We have experienced the best project success when we are incorporated into your design team at an early stage so after an initial review.
SIPs Fabrication and Supply. Blank SIPs are cut to size and shape complete with perimeter rebates and apertures formed as necessary. Once engineered each panel is packed in a sequential manner and transported to site.
SIPs Installation Service. Our installers are very experienced highly trained individuals and hold all the necessary training certification for UK construction sites.
