The Fellfoot Water Sports Centre represents a significant construction project situated in a stunning area of natural beauty at the foot of Lake Windermere. Designed to serve as a hub for water-based activities, the centre caters to sporting clubs, tourists, and local school children, fostering a sense of community engagement and outdoor recreation.
McVeigh offsite were appointed by main contractors Thomas Armstrong Construction for the design, supply and installation of the SIPs element of the project. The building is constructed using prefabricated Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), the structure is raised off the ground to avoid flood risk and make room for boat workshops.
